The 2003 Tacoma 4WD trucks are available in a variety of types. Accommodated on one end on the scale is the 2.7-liter 4-cyl engine, 2-seater base regular cab. On the other hand is the 4-door 4-seater Double Cab with a 3.4 liter V6. The latter has far more power and with the added hardware able to carry 5 adult passengers inside. A supercharger kit known as the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is also available for the V6. It boosts the horsepower up to 260. This is beneficial for those who want and require more power for their vehicles.
